I have been to Benalmadena many times and I believe there is plenty to do and easy to get around to other resorts which are close by. Use the local buses and you will get a great deal. eg Bus 120 to Frengerola will cost you 1.45 euros. On your return you must play for your ticket at the bus station . ok on the buses at any other stop.

The long sandy beaches are a big attraction and can get very busy, the main beach, Malapesquera Beach offers sun loungers and parasols for hire plus a selection of water sports including jet skis and sailing. Behind the beach is a long promenade filled with bars, cafes and restaurants. For a more secluded spot to relax away from the crows head to Tajo de la Soga beach.
Things to do
The resort has so much to offer visitors, water sports, golf, karting, quad biking plus so much more, there really is something for everyone here. The largest theme park on the Costa del Sol, Tivoli World is situated in Benalmadena and is a fantastic day out for all the family with many thrilling rides and entertainment.
Out and about
Benalmadena has a wide variety of restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets, whether you're looking for a quiet intimate dinner along the marina or a just a quick bite to eat with the family in the town, there's something suitable for everyone here. The night-life is fairly lively with lots of bars, clubs and casinos open til the early hours.
A great way to view the resort is by cable car, travelling up to 800m above sea level the cable cars offer a stunning way to see the resort and surrounding area. Once at the top you can visit the bird sanctuary or take a donkey ride to explore the area.
