Absolutely lovely picturesque village, all whitewashed buildings. Lovely to explore but not a lot to do. Nearby Nerja has far more going on and has a real bustle about it.

The closest beach to Frigiliana is Nerja beach, located approx 7 km from the resort Nerja beach offers everything you need from sun loungers for hire to water sports and refreshments.
Things to do
Take a stroll along one of the many winding cobbled streets and explore the local shops and all the pretty village has to offer. Hikers and nature lovers will enjoy the many country walks through the mountains and pine forests nearby. If you don't want to explore on foot then mountain bike hire is a great way to see all the sights as is horse riding.
The weekly market is filled with stalls offering a wide range of goods from fruit and veg to crafts, handbags and clothes.
Out and about
There are a good range of traditional restaurants in the village, some tucked away down small cobbled streets but are well worth seeking out. The village also has many bars in which to enjoy a quiet drink and relax. For a greater choice of restaurants and livelier atmosphere, head to the near by resort of Nerja which offers a diverse range of cuisines and vibrant nightlife with numerous late night bars and clubs.
Coastal town of Nerja are easily accessible and offers a whole host of fun and activities including water sports, horse drawn carriage rides plus the unmissable Neja Caves. The twice weekly market is also a must for bargain hunters!
