Great for shopping and restaurants. Taxis are plentiful and the metro is easily accessible and an inexpensive mode of travel to explore Dubai. The beaches are not great and tend to be small.

It is a bit out of the way for the main attractions however the transport system is so good it doesn't really matter. The metro is excellent and really cheap. It is near the creek area that has a nice harbour and gold silver market.

Busy and bustling, characterful with local restaurants and cafes serving authentic foods. Fabulous area around the Creek with souks galore. Fairly easy access to Metro system (around 20 minutes walk to nearest, but taxis are cheap).
