Excellent, lovely resort expecting it to be a bit rough but was not at all, lovely promenade, very flat, I suppose our only draw back was that our hotel was a bit of a way from the front and it was a fair walk back up the hill back into Torremolinos centre. Didn't go into Torremolinos to eat or drink so couldn't comment on the facilities there but overall a lovely place to visit and enjoy Spanish hospitality.

The wide sands of Torremolinos Beach stretch for approx 6km from the Parador de Malaga Golf Club in the east to Benalmadena Marina in the west. The beach is well serviced and you will find beach bars regularly dotted along it's entire length, fronted by tidy grids of loungers with thatched and colourful parasols. There are also several grassed areas with palm trees offering a little welcome shade. Families with younger children might note that the eastern half of the promenade is backed by a road, whereas the western half is more pedestrianised.
Things to Do
Take a picnic to the large park gardens at Parque La Bateria; kids will love the adventure play area and there is also an artificial boating lake. For more tranquil gardens, follow the pathways at the Molino del Inca through aged trees, water features, aviaries, classic statues and charming courtyards to the lake and the historic mill.
Popular family friendly theme parks include Aqualand Torremolinos and the Crocodile Park with it's impressive shows. Aqualand Torremolinos will keep adults and children entertained for the whole day and features a multitude of adrenaline slides, a big and colourful kids waterpark, a wave pool and jacuzzis. You can swim with the sealions, have a game of mini golf or, just grab a bite to eat from one of the fast food kiosks and relax in the gardens.
Out and About
For traditional Spanish streets, tapas bars and fresh seafood restaurants, stroll around the old fishing district of La Carihuela. Restaurants cater to all tastes and budgets and you will be spoilt for choice in the resort centre with even more venues near the beach.
Similarly there is no end of nightlife options, from quiet bars to beach parties and all night clubbing. The local market takes place on Thursday mornings and can be found next to the Plaza de Toros bullring.
Popular water sports and activities available along the Torremolinos beaches include fishing, sailing, pedalos, waterbikes and windsurfing. The clear Mediterranean waters are also good for swimming and snorkelling.
In the neighbouring resort of Benalmadena you can visit the highly acclaimed Tivoli World where you will find thrill rides, themed squares and landscaped gardens, childrens rides, stage shows and restaurants. The beautiful Andalucian city of Malaga is just 20 minutes drive away where you will find good shopping streets and the notable historic attractions of Malaga Cathedral and the imposing Alcazaba.
