Bali is an attractive fishing village that has grown in terms of tourism but still retains a good deal of charm. There are plenty of bars, tavernas and waterfront restaurants with a fairly lively nightlife. There are many watersports available as well as a variety of excursions. Bali attracts a mix of families and couples however due to its hilly terrain, Bali may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties.

Bali is a seaside village which is positioned between Heraklion and Rethymnon and that has several beaches of varying sizes and provides minimal shopping facilities for visitors. This traditional Greek resort has a series of coves and quaint tavernas running along the seafront and offers a pretty and picturesque landscape.

There are several beaches including a small pebble beach which is backed by several tavernas and in the oldest part of the town is another cove and beach.
