Overview
Two hotels are located here - the Mythos Beach is located on a nice sandy beach and the Sofia is located just 50 metres away. Built in traditional Cretan style, both have a great position with magnificent views over the resort of Bali.
Location
The hotel has a central location, close to the harbour and resort centre where a number of cafes, bars and tavernas can be found.
There is a public bus available heading to Heraklion (50km) in one direction and Rethymno (25km) in the other, the nearest bus stop is about 2km outside the resort of Bali.
Heraklion Airport is approx 55km away.

Facilities include reception service, a restaurant with terrace and a bar with satellite TV. The upper building has a swimming pool and sun-terrace furnished with loungers and umbrellas, as well as a snack bar with terrace.

In total the two buildings offer 2 single rooms, 49 double/twin rooms (for up to 3 people, with a fold-out bed) and 25 family rooms with kitchenette for up to 4 people.
Standard room facilities include an ensuite bath/shower room, mini-fridge, telephone, hairdryer and a balcony or terrace.
Air-conditioning, safe deposit box, satellite TV and internet access are all available against a local charge.
All rooms are cleaned daily, with linen and towels are changed twice a week.

Special Information
From 1st of January 2024, the Greek Govt. are charging a Climate Resilience Tax on all overnight stays which will be payable before departing the hotel. This tax replaces the previous sustainable tourism tax. March to October: 5-star hotels: €10 per room, per night 4-star hotels: €7 per room, per night 3-star hotels: €3 per room, per night 1-star & 2-star hotels: €1.50 per room, per night Furnished rooms/apartments: €1.50 per room, per night November to February reduced rates will apply.
