As we were there in October a lot of theme parks, clubs etc had closed for the winter season. It was still possible to go snorkelling, diving and other boat trips. There are still quite a lot of restaurants open, but not all at this time of year. The food was generally very good and reasonably priced.

San Antonio Bay is a beach lovers dream and boasts a string of beaches, running from the main sandy beach next to the marina in San Antonio all around the bay and along the north coast to the beach at Port d'es Torrent. The main beach looks across the bay, which is filled with yachts and boats and offers a wealth of water sports including jet skis and parasailing.
Located in the actual bay, there are 5 further beaches; the shallow waters at Es Puet beach are ideal for children and is backed by the promenade; Playa S'Estanyol comprises two small coves with beach bars; next is Playa Pinet and finally the golden beach of Playa Bella, which is popular with families. All the beaches are served by the ferry which runs into San Antonio and there are various watersports including pedalos, jet skis and banana boat rides.
Along the north coast you have the wide bay of Cala de Bou and, at the western end of the resort and surrounded by pine forests, the Port d'es Torrent beach is sandy with clear shallow waters, ideal for swimming and snorkelling.
Things To Do
Compared to San Antonio, San Antonio Bay is relatively quiet but there is still plenty going on with mini golf, play parks and bouncy castles. There is a good variety of watersports including snorkeling and scuba diving or take a trip on a glass-bottom boat to explore the underwater world. Boat trips to Formentera are also popular and a really good day out.
Another good day out is a trip to Ibiza's historic old town which is full of designer boutiques and home to a 13th century cathedral. The whole family will also enjoy a trip on the tourist train to Santa Ines, an authentic hilltop village.
Ibiza's largest water park, Aguamar is not far away and is a fantastic day out for all ages. The Paintball Lounge Party is nearer, in San An and is a fun day out and certainly something to get the adrenaline going.
Out and About
There are plenty of shops and supermarkets in San Antonio Bay and a good variety of bars and restaurants along the beaches and throughout the resort. Wherever you choose to stay in San Antonio Bay you will never be far from a beach or somewhere to eat.
If you're still full of energy at midnight you might want to head into San Antonio to the famous clubs such as Eden and Es Paradis or hop on the disco bus to Privilege and Amnesia at San Rafael or carry on to Pacha at Ibiza Town.
Ibiza Town is approx 25 minutes drive away and has a charming historic quarter with well preserved bastions and a maze of narrow streets to explore; atmospheric town squares, some great artisan shops and a prestigious Marina.
The Hippy Market is open throughout the day at Es Cana on Wednesdays and Las Dalias Market in San Carlos is on Saturdays. If you prefer the night markets, the Artisan Market at San Juan is on Fridays and Las Dalias is on Mondays in peak season.
There is also plenty going on in the surrounding area, from various boat trips to different sporting activities. So if it's a quiet, relaxing holiday or an action packed holiday you are after then look no further than San Antonio Bay.
