All the staff were very helpful, from reception to bar to cleaners. The standard of the rooms was very good also and they were spacious. The place is in a little village up off the main drag of the resort and is very peaceful whilst having a choice of several good restaurants if you don't want to go too far at night. Yet it was only a 5-7 minute walk to the main resort down an easy hill. Best of both worlds I'd say. Minos village is a small complex and set out very well around the small pool. Very safe for families as enclosed. Didn't get much noise from other residents due to lay out also. Overall, extremely pleased with the whole place.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Minos Village as a wonderful place to stay. The staff from reception to waiting staff, cleaners, everyone was welcoming and helpful. I was delighted with my 1 bed apartment. Modern and very nicely decorated. Very clean and comfortable. I've been holidaying on Greek islands for years and this was the best accommodation ever had. Really comfortable beds (important if you have back problems like I do). Breakfast buffet very good. Choice of nicely presented cooked food, fruit, continental, yoghurt and honey. Excellent! Pool is always in the sun and spotless. I saw it cleaned every morning. Really lovely area too with excellent taverns. Really genuinely, delighted with my choice and I'm going back next year!

Just returned from a very enjoyable week at the Minos Village. After spending hours trawling the web (literally) for a nice place to stay in the Chania area, I came across the Minos Village. The reviews were good and it looked beautiful but I think what really sold it to me was the managers response to an earlier review about a local rooster! It made me laugh! I requested a pool view and that is what I got, however, I think most rooms have a pool view. I did hear a rooster now and again, but I swear the rooms are pretty sound proof as nothing kept us awake at all and I am a light sleeper. The hotel was immaculate, I am fussy when it comes to cleanliness but I couldn't fault this place. The cleaners are in the room daily and my god they work hard. We had fresh towels regularly and linen at least once in the week we were there. The staff were lovely, the food was great. The location couldn't be better, it was very quiet however in a 5 min walk you could reach the main road of Ayia Marina and the beach. The hotel can take you there in the golf cart if you so wish, my daughter was on crutches so this was great for us and it was no trouble to them. So if you're worried about mobility there is no need to be. The bus to Chania runs often and was only 6 euro for a family of 4 for a 15-20 min journey. We also used Horiatiko's taverna 2 mins from the hotel on the recommendation of an earlier review and it was amazing. Highly recommend the Minos Village hotel we wish we could've stayed longer! Thank you for having us.
