The Gouves Waterpark Holiday Resort is situated in a quiet area of Gouves, boasting a vast range of fun-filled facilities for families.
Location
The complex is located approximately 300m from the beach, 17km from Heraklion Airport and 166km from Chania Airport. The hotel is also in a prime spot for surrounding facilities including the city of Heraklion 19km away, Cretan Golf Club 12km away, the Dinosaur Park 1.5km away and easy access to various other opportunities such as museums, marinas and old villages.
Facilities
With three outdoor pools and three waterparks to suit different ages (age restrictions and height restrictions vary for each park), complete with curling slides, tipping buckets, net climbing and fast-lane slides, this hotel is jam-packed with fun facilities. There is also a mini club and children's playground to keep younger guests entertained, as well as a rainbow of daytime activities including yoga, darts, aqua fitness, cocktail games, dance, water polo, table tennis, water Zumba, football and billiards, as well as evening entertainment such as magic shows, dancing, fire shows, karaoke, quizzes and Greek-themed entertainment.
Social and dining venues on-site include the main buffet restaurant for live cooking shows and different themed nights such as Greek, International, Italian, Asian, Cretan, Seafood and Street Food. There are also three a la carte restaurants for something a little more indulgent, two pool bars serving light bites and refreshments, a lounge and entertainment bar and Zeus Bar for a selection of drinks.

Each room is elegantly furnished and there are a selection of types to choose from, including swim-up rooms. Room amenities include air conditioning, satellite television, FREE Wi-Fi, a telephone, safety deposit (for a fee), hairdryer and mini fridge.

Special Information
From 1st of January 2024, the Greek Govt. are charging a Climate Resilience Tax on all overnight stays which will be payable before departing the hotel. This tax replaces the previous sustainable tourism tax. March to October: 5-star hotels: €10 per room, per night 4-star hotels: €7 per room, per night 3-star hotels: €3 per room, per night 1-star & 2-star hotels: €1.50 per room, per night Furnished rooms/apartments: €1.50 per room, per night November to February reduced rates will apply.
