Belek is situated around 30km from Antalya in one direction and the same again to the resort of Side in the other. Belek has been designed around several golf courses making it particularly desirable for those seeking a sunny spot to enjoy the sport.

Belek consists of many luxurious resort style hotels which surround the fairways and line the 16km long stretch of sandy beach, each providing numerous leisure facilities, entertainment and dining options.
As a newly built resort much of the entertainment is found within the large hotels, with everything from spa centres, sports facilities, water-slides and kids clubs available. The town of Belek which can be found behind the sprawling golf courses, does offer a number of bars, restaurants, shops and a weekly market, well worth venturing beyond your hotel gates.

As well as offering excellent golfing facilities the resort of Belek has a wide range of water sports and land activities that would cater for all age groups, such as water and jet skiing, rafting, horse-riding, cycling and tennis.
Antalya is around 30km from the resort of Belek and for those seeking a break from the beach and golf courses has plenty of facilities to entertain on offer, including the Archaeological Museum and Antalya Zoo. While Antalya's old town also known as Kaleici, is a picturesque part of the city and is full of character with narrow winding cobbled streets once enclosed in the ancient city walls. A pedestrian zone in the centre features a landmark stone tower, the Grooved Minaret and a statue of Attalus, while the Roman arch known as Hadrian's Gate, can be found at one of the entrances.
The area is also great for day trips to nearby sites of interest such as the Aspendos Roman Theatre, Perge and Side ancient Roman ruins, Manavgat and Kursunlu waterfalls, and the Termessos archaeological site found high on the Gulluk Mountain National Park.
