My friend and I had a really lovely holiday there. Although basic, the apartments are spotlessly clean and located a short walk from the many attractions and restaurants in Elounda. Dimos and Yiannis, the owners, are charming hosts and they run boat trips from the jetty outside the apartments. Pete and Lyn, the English couple employed there, are extremely helpful in recommending which restaurants to go to and also the best tourist attractions. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had bed and breakfast and this was served from 9am onwards until whenever we wanted it and a full 'English' was enjoyed every day. Towels for the nearby beach or pool were provided, so no need to pack them. We thought that air conditioning for 80 euros was expensive, but necessary of course. Overall, we would highly recommend Elounda Sunrise Apartments.

This is an amazing place! The location is stunning, the apartments are typically Greek and the food great. The sunbathing area now has 2 pools and there were always more than enough sunbeds to go around. The entertainment was just right with a great traditional Greek night and a fun quiz night. There was also football projected very big on the side of the hotel wall much to my husbands delight. We also had a very moving visit to Spinalonga on the boat belonging to Giannis and Dimos. However the best part for us by far were the staff. Giannis, Dimos and Manos are running an amazing place which is so special. Lyn and Peter are so friendly and helpful and from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed our holiday was superb. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone and we almost felt part of a large Greek family. Thank you and we will be back.

This was our third visit to Elounda Sunrise Apartments and we were once again impressed by the welcome, the facilities and the improvements to the property. Our only criticism would be the sparse cooking equipment but, as we only ate breakfast in the apartment, it didn't inconvenience us too much (and they are only in line with many other holiday apartments in which we have stayed in Greece).

The staff that run the Elounda Apartments are the perfect hosts; knowledgeable, helpful and witty in huge amounts. The apartments are situated in the perfect location for the Elounda bay area and are kept spotless.

Having stayed in many resorts in Crete I can honestly say Sunrise are the cleanest and best we have stayed in. The new block is particularly well appointed and did I mention that the whole complex is spotless? As a result we had a great, relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable stay and will definitely be returning!

The pool may be small be this is not a problem as a clean beach is 100 meters away and the sea is less than 10 meters from the entrance. We found out that we were the only couple for whom this was our first stay at Sunrise! It is very family, singles and couples friendly. Well done to all of the staff!

The best location in elounda, with fab views across the bay. The owners Dimos and Yannis couldnt be more helpful. The rooms were so so clean and a great bathroom with an enclosed shower that supplied hot water all day. Every week they arrange a BBQ which has great food and entertainment. Towels and bedding were changed every three days. All in all a great place to stay to enjoy all that elounda has to offer.
