Overview

The Peninsula Hotel has a sea-front location and is set on a peninsula between two beaches that offer a wide choice of water sports as well as a certified diving centre. The hotel has 2 pools and a childrens pool, along with a childrens play area.

Location

The hotel is situated 1.5km from the village of Aghia Pelagia, between the Mononaftis and Psaromoura beaches.

Heraklion Airport is approx 24km away.

Facilities

Facilities include one freshwater swimming pool and one saltwater pool, both pools have a childrens section and sun-terraces furnished with loungers and umbrellas. Further leisure facilities include a childrens playground, a mini club (mid June-mid Sept), 2 tennis courts, multi-purpose courts, table tennis and a pool table.

The animation team provides a variety of entertainment with organised activities and games during the day and live performances at night.

Wining and dining options include the main buffet restaurant, a lobby bar, a beach bar, a pool bar with entertainment stage and pool snack bar.

Guest services include 24-hour reception, internet corner (local charge) and Wifi access in lobby area, lounge area, babysitting (local charge), meeting and conference facilities, laundry service, car and bike rental, parking, mini-market and doctor on call.

Rooms

The Peninsula Hotel offers 243 standard and bungalow rooms (located in the grounds), with some rooms accommodating up to 5 people.

All Inclusive

The All Inclusive programme includes all meals; breakfast, lunch and dinner, served buffet style in the main restaurant. During breakfast coffee, tea and juices are offered; during lunch and dinner, wine from the barrel, draught beer, water and soft drinks are available.

A self service snack bar at the main pool is open from 9am until 5.30pm, including soft drinks, water, local beer and wine.

A selection of locally produced alcoholic and soft drinks are available until 11pm, subject to outlet opening times.

Chargeable Extras: Espresso coffee, all drinks after 11pm, Scuba diving courses, doctor or medical services, car rental, telephone, fax, email service, safety deposit boxes, mini market and umbrellas & deck chairs at the public beach are available at a charge.

The AI guests must wear the special bracelet in order to benefit the AI concept. All drinks are self service.
