The room we were in, in the sunshine apartments was terrible, particularly the bathroom. The only good thing about it was the food and friendly staff.

The apartment was good - shame it was semi basement but the plus side was that it was large and very clean and cool enough to sleep without the air conditioning. The hospitality was outstanding as was the food! Loved it and would definitely go back to see "Mama and Papa"

Booked here because it was near the sea, on arrival, we were sent to Sweet Memories 2 which was not near the sea. Rooms clean, staff friendly but location not so good.

The staff at Sweet Memories were all very obliging and the apartments were well managed by Yannis who went that extra mile for his clients. The apartments were well presented and were cleaned daily. We did not eat at the apartments as choice was very limited so cannot comment on standard of the food. Would certainly recommend Sweet Memories.

Family owned apartments in a wonderful location. Family owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. We were on a half board basis and the food was amazing with traditional Greek dishes offered wherever possible. Although there is no pool on site, just a short walk away there is another complex with a pool and loungers available. Would highly recommend.

Where to begin. We were delayed at the airport so arrived in the early hours of the morning. The reception was in darkness but pinned to the door there was a notice telling us our apartment number. There was a bottle of water in the fridge. A nice touch you don't always get in apartments. We were in number 25. One of the one bedroom apartments. Nice big rooms with an electric hob, toaster and electric kettle in the kitchenette area. No microwave but the food cooked by 'Mama' Youla and her son Yannis entirely made up for this. Priced at ten euros for a three course meal. Incredible and deliciously edible but beware, we put on a stone in weight between us. However, we did stay for twenty eight nights! Oh, forgot to mention the breakfast. Home baked bread and cake and then full English. Of course you don't have to have all that. There's yoghurt, fruit and toast and cereal. I can't see why we put the weight on!

On first impression I liked the apartment but was a bit disappointed with the position which was at the rear on the right hand side but after a couple of days grew to love it. Very private and lovely and cool in the afternoon and evening.

Having said all this, the main reason for staying at Sweet Memory is what countless other guests have said, and that's the hospitality from the family and staff. Nothing is too much trouble. We love them all. Keep it Greek, Yanni 'cos that's what people like. Otherwise they'd be in the faceless all inclusive hotels.

The photo of the apartments on this website is out of date. There's now a covered terrace out to the front wall with tables and chairs for dining or just relaxing with a nice cool beer or one of the many cocktails. With the sound of the sea a few yards away and the wonderful views of the setting sun we could have stayed for another twenty eight nights! A heartwarming holiday with warm hearted people.
