Kardamena is situated on the eastern coast with plentiful nightlife, bars and a beautiful long stretch of sand and shingle beach. The countless bars and discos make the resort very busy and noisy into the early hours which is ideal for young groups and couples.

Kardamena used to be a small fishing town and has now become one of the liveliest resorts on the island. There are over 100 bars, clubs and discos which draws the young clubbers who look to party hard at night and relax on the beach during the day.

Smallish town but contains a whole load of different bars, restaurants and shops. Something for everyone! Beach is fairly poor, more pebbles than sand in lots of places, but does have some better spots.

Beaches
Kardamena beach is a 3km sandy stretch of beach which is fringed by bars and restaurants. In the peak season the beach can get busy however there is always space to lounge on the sand if you move slightly away from the centre. Watersports are plentiful and include banana boats, pedaloes and jetskiing to name but a few.
Out and About
Kardamena has widespread appeal for those seeking a vibrant and lively resort and there are multiple restaurants, bars and cafes to choose from. For those who like to take home a gift, there is also a good choice of shops and outlets.
Nearby Attractions
For those who want to explore the island the ancient city of Kos Town is just a 40 minute drive away where visitors will find a medieval castle and wander down the cobbled streets with its vast choice of shops and eateries. Alternatively visitors can take a boat trip to the small volcanic island of Nissyros.
