We love this small friendly resort and have been coming here for the past seven years. Beautiful beaches, plenty of restaurants and people very friendly.

Absolutely adore Kefalos (possibly a retirement place for us), lovely beach and harbour, great restaurants, too many good ones to name, but very rarely disappointed. Always end the night with Yiannis & Manos at Marias bar on the harbour road and if you enjoy your football, they have at least five screens showing different games simultaneously - big bonus for me. Great atmosphere when major tournaments on.

The beach at Kefalos is a mix of sand and shingle and is within swimming distance of the Agios Nikolas monastery. The coastline leading to Kefalos has some of the best beaches on the island including Paradise Beach.

The Old Town is typically Greek however the length of the bay is fringed with tavernas, cafes and restaurants. The nightlife here is low-key however for those who wish to enjoy late night clubs and discos the larger resorts of Kardamena and Kos are not far away.
There are many historical site to visit in the area surrounding Kefalos. Kamari is only 1km away where visitors will find the basillicas of Agios Stefanos dating back to the 5th Century and also a pretty marina.
