Lampi, or Lambi, is a small suburb of Kos Town and the beach lies across the headland to the northwest of Kos town. The sands have become more and more popular as people try to escape the crowded beaches of the island capital.

Lambi offers a 1km long stretch of white sand beach which is lined with a promenade housing a restaurants and cafes. The beach is perfect for families due to the shallow waters and there are plenty of watersports available for those wishing to get out onto the sea! Sun loungers are also available to hire.
Out and About
Lambi stands next to Kos Town and offers low-rise hotels and a good choice of restaurants and tavernas. There are many pavement cafes for those who wish to just relax and enjoy a refreshment or for those that like shopping there is are many shops to browse around. Beachside bars and clubs can be found for those seeking nightly entertainment although the serious clubbers should head for Kos Town.

Visitors to Lambi are in the ideal location for exploring Kos Town and the rest of the island. Historical sites abound and include the ancient Greek ruins like Asklepion (less than 30 minutes away by bike), Neratzia Castle or the Kos Archaeological Museum. Visitors can also take a boat trip from Kos Town to neighbouring islands.
