It's the nicest hotel I've stayed in whilst abroad. The staff were great, the cleanliness of the hotel was fantastic and the different types of food that was on offer was excellent.

We went for 7 nights all inclusive and it was fantastic, the staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean, the food throughout the day was good, they could have put on a bit more entertainment but other than that it was a brilliant holiday and I would recommend this hotel to anyone, the only thing I would say is that 7 nights was not long enough and now wish I had booked for 2 weeks.

A good 4 star. Nice hotel, location, room & facilities. Small niggles, AC not powerful enough so room a bit stuffy. Need to use room key for drinks as well as wrist band, a real pain. Snack bar rubbish, little choice & only pizza edible. We went into lunch buffet instead. Good range of drinks in AI. Food pretty good nothing special or unusual but decent.

Plenty of sun beds but hotel not that busy, not sure what like peak times. Set on hill so a 10 min walk to front, guests with mobility issues will struggle.

Food was excellent, but the beds are the most uncomfortable ever, despite being given a new mattress which was more uncomfortable than the old, ripped, worn out one. It felt like we had slept on the floor all night and I had to take a painkiller each morning because my hips and back were so sore from the hard mattress. We were eventually given a foam mattress topper which helped a bit.
With exception of 2 nights out of 10 the entertainment was very poor, and the entertainment lounge very uncomfortable, also some nights we had to wait about 20 minutes for the waiter to arrive with our drinks order - simply not enough staff to cope.

Spotlessly clean everywhere, and nice cold fridge in the room. Very disappointed not to be able to use the swimming pools as there's no shallow end at all in either of them and being only 5', I could not touch the bottom and as I'm not a strong swimmer it was scary for me. They are 1.5 and 1.7 metres deep all over.

The resort of San Augustin is very disappointing, just a shopping centre selling the usual beach stuff, a Spar shop and a long stretch of promenade to walk along. No decent bars, restaurants or nightlife of any sort at all. Last year we went to the Gloria Palace down the coast at Amadores and as this hotel is advertised as its sister hotel we mistakenly thought it would be of the same standard, but whereas the Amadores one is 4* but more like a 5* , this one is 4* but apart from the food more like a 3*.

Beds and pillows very hard, food very hit and miss. Had to pay for gym 30 euros a week, safe 2.50 euro a day and 50 cents to get your towels changed a day. Entertainment, sun loungers not enough. Most of the staff were excellent but the rest were well below average. Would not recommend this resort sorry.

Excellent hotel, very nice rooms, spacious and roomy, two sinks, his and hers. Food was excellent variety and deserts were to die for, so much choice. Great staff, very happy and cheerful. I would recommend it to anyone. Pools were very nice and there's a pool inside, wow excellent. Would go again.

Reception area very helpful, stopped in a family room, 3 adults very comfortable, plenty of space, balcony windows dirty but cleaned the following morning. Excellent choice of food over the 11 days we were there, pools very clean, plenty of sunbeds but short of umbrellas. Snack bars good but in the evening not enough bar staff. Entertainment during the day ie games and competitions good, evening entertainment mixed. Overall we were very satisfied with our holiday. Ease of booking and printing of vouchers fantastic, already recommended Sunshine Holidays address to people we met over there. Would definitely book with Sunshine Holiday again. The flight with Monarch airways was superb, on time both ways, could not been more helpful.

We did enjoy our stay! The hotel was welcoming, the staff were very helpful and we were impressed with the overall cleanliness of both our room and the public areas. We noted (early in the day) that there was a regular clean-up of the pool areas. Room facilities were good and the small fridge was very useful. Food was generally very good with a good selection. The service was pleasant and polite (even though the waiting staff were overzealous at times quickly removing empty plates, partly understandable during the evening meal as two sittings needed to be accommodated)! The sun loungers definitely require more umbrellas!

Rooms, hotel toilets and facilities were very clean. It was a nice touch to get a glass of cold fresh orange on arrival. All staff were pleasant other than the Chinese man behind the hot grill in the evenings although this didn't spoil our experience. The children's pool is far too deep and something really ought to be done to change this. Adults cannot properly supervise their children if they are not yet swimmers - this was a disappointment to us.

Lovely large, clean family room. Beautiful pools with clean spacious terraces and lots of sun beds. Could do with few more parasols though. Fantastic food and drink on all inclusive. Located up a hill approx 10 minutes walk from sandy beach. Great activities for our 13 year old son.
