Beaches

Taurito is a small, family friendly beach resort, ideal for a relaxing holiday with entertainment and activities on your doorstep. The sandy beach at Taurito Bay is backed by palm trees and cafes with shaded terraces overlooking the ocean.

Things to Do

At the beach there is a water sport centre offering jet-skiing, parasailing, banana boat and donut ring rides. Take a jet-ski safari to the secluded beaches of GuiGui and Tasartico passing the cliffs and caves of the west coast or; in the opposite direction to the expansive sands of Maspalomas.

Also at the beach you will find the Blue Explorers Dive Centre where you can learn to snorkel and scuba dive or choose from a range of PADI certified courses. Certified divers can enjoy a range of dive sites, including shore and boat dives, at wrecks and reefs.

Out and About

Above the beach is an attractive promenade which runs from one side of the bay to the other. Immediately behind the promenade you can't fail to miss the focal point of the resort, which is the Lago Oasis waterpark. The water park comprises a large swimming pool with water features and bridges, slides and chutes, jacuzzis and sunbathing areas as well as a pool-side bar and restaurant.

Behind the aqua park is the Oasis Taurito leisure park featuring a landscaped mini golf course, a children's playground and sports courts, surrounded by shops and restaurants.

Nearby Attractions

The pretty resort of Puerto Mogan is just 5km away and holds a popular street market on Fridays. Here you can join deep sea fishing trips from the harbour or take the ferry to other resorts on the south coast including Puerto Rico and Arguineguin. Puerto Rico is also easily reached by road (13km) and is a popular choice for livelier nightlife.

The nearest 18 hole golf course is Anfi Tauro Golf Club (11km), which also has a 9 hole par 3 course. The rugged deep ravines, winding roads, palm groves and rural hamlets which dominate the landscape rising up behind the resort provides a scenic playground for walkers, cyclists and hikers.
