The hotel was very clean but very dated. No air conditioning or very good self catering facilities. The staff was very helpful and polite.

Very clean and tidy, a split level accommodation which is great although basic. Air conditioning is not in the rooms as standard but can hire a unit. Pool is small but nice and the location for the hotel is great.

Rooms, pool very clean. Unfortunately my apartment was near the pool which should be a positive, unfortunately there was a few people who used it after hours and caused a lot of noise. Should have had security to move them on.

Good value for money. Apartments are clean and comfortable and although situated up the hill there were plenty of taxis available at a reasonable cost. (3 - 4 euros).

Very very clean, staff friendly and funny, always smiling, entertainment, beautiful restaurants even a supermarket. Was surprised how fabulous it really was. We are definitely going to return again, very close walk to beach and centre, nice views of the ocean. Superb experience. Thank you Sunshine holidays and the Puerto Plata team. Bravo.

Got to reception only to find out they had moved us to another hotel (Colina Mar) without informing us before we departed for holiday, paid for transfer to hotel only to pay for a taxi to the next hotel overall experience of arrival and communication very poor. Jacky from Sunshine was fast in replying to my emails not Sunshine's fault really but communication between suppliers and Sunshine could be better.

Nice, low price aparthotel. Old fashioned but still with a nice view over Puerto Rico (top floor Apartment). Sorry to say that services were poor but if you want a low price hotel I can recommend Puerto Plata Aparthotel.
