The hotel was clean and food was reasonable. However, beds round pool were squashed together and not much room. Very claustrophobic. For the amount of rooms in the hotel the facilities were very small. Only one bar to serve everyone and that was outside. Shows held inside in a basement theatre. Entertainment for kids looked great but was running for adults. All in all it was a break away but wouldn't go back to this hotel.

Great hotel, nice and clean in hotel and around complex. Nice staff, mostly the entertainment staff. They have a tough job getting the guests involved in the activities. Food is of good quality, obviously gets a bit repetitive but this is to be expected with all inclusive board. You have to pay for wifi at a cost of 20 euros a week, which was disappointing and that's for each device. No air conditioning in the rooms which is greatly needed.
Out and about! Short taxi ride to the sea front where all the nice shops are, Hugo boss, Lacoste etc and nice restaurants, which will cost you 5 euros each way. Nothing much around the hotel at all, a couple of gift shops, spar shop, pharmacy, that's your lot. Water park taxi drive away and was an enjoyable day, spent 4 hours which was long enough. Lots of walking involved and you pay 4 euros for each sunbed hire, food and drink expensive. So grab yourself a picnic to take with you.

I love this hotel, I have been visiting the Mirador for several years now and feel the place is very comfortable. There are people from all walks of life and nationalities, you don't need to get dressed up for dinner if you don't want but if you do that's fine too. Staff are very helpful, hotel very clean, courtesy bus to the beach each day. Food can be a bit boring like all inclusive holidays any where but there is a good choice each day and it's well cooked.

Very clean and well run hotel both with the restaurant and all inclusive, staff were very pleasant and helpful if requested to be. Drinks both alcoholic and non were self service apart from spirits which was superb and saved time. Great hotel but location a bit too quiet for me and my partner but I did enjoy walk to beach front twice a day which suited us as we are walkers but others might be put off with location?

Great stay, hotel very clean, room cleaned and towels every day. From the cleaners to top manager you cannot fault. Food there is food for everyone to chose from. We asked for a pool view, did not get but then only sleep in the room - had a bit of noise from motorway but then I get up at 5 every day so not too much of a problem. Bar drinks down side, every drink comes in plastic cup but if you ask for a glass they give it to you. Bar staff, all of them very good. Never seen this before we had our holiday with family members that included a baby; first day there the head chef came into the restaurant came over to us said hello then insisted if there was nothing out for the baby ask the staff and they would prepare food for him - baby's age 18 months, top show. Hotel is a cab ride from beach, 5 euro or go to other beach free bus ride - again coach driver very good. Would recommend hotel and staff to others thank you.

This hotel was too large, understaffed, outside areas untidy, smokers everywhere. The staff were very rude at the bar. Not enough cold water and drinks machines. The only person on reception that was nice to us was Alicia. We asked for a quiet room; the first one we had was on top floor which I did ask for, but it was noisy. We over looked a double dual carriageway, taxi rank running all night too. Had no sleep for three nights. As no air con should be able to have door open, but too noisey. No wifi unless you paid. In reception area when finished your meal there was a bar there but not open, so could not get a coffee after meal as machine in dining area always off at dinner. Food ok, bed nice, never got a sun bed.

The animation team there Saki, Adriana, Davina Mario and Christian were all absolutely fantastic. The food, lots of choices. Very good maid service, very good hotel and all the staff super friendly . We're going back again next year for three weeks. Only one small thing, bit of a mad rush for sun bed in the morning and it was not the Germans. All in 9.5 out of 10.

Stayed at the Dunas Mirador from 26 Feb 15 to 05 Mar 15 and had a thoroughly fantastic time. All the hotel (reception, bar and restaurant) staff were extremely polite and friendly and by a few days in the pool bar staff knew my drinks order.
The animation team were very enthusiastic and eager to get all involved in daytime activity without being too pushy, however in the evening they were let down by a lack of decent shows to be involved in.
The food at breakfast provided a good selection of cold and hot foods with pancakes made on the hot plates on most mornings. The daytime food at the poolside bar was perfectly adequate (fries, burgers and hotdogs along with a selection of cold foods) followed by cake in the afternoon and then sandwiches. We did not venture into the main restaurant for lunch but didn%u2019t feel the need with the poolside food (plus the weather was far too nice to spend time inside). The food in the evening again was perfectly acceptable for a 3* hotel, some of the comments left by guests need to realise they have not paid 5* prices and therefore should not moan at not getting 5* food.
The public amenities on offer at the hotel were outstanding and cleanliness is a key point at the hotel, there is one heated pool and one unheated pool, there is a Jacuzzi, however, it is the first Jacuzzi that I have ever known not to be heated and therefore there was no way I would sit in there. There is a strict 'no towels on sunbeds' policy before 8am, if you try to place towels on beds prior to this they will be removed. I was sceptical of this but actually preferred this method to people throwing towels on beds prior to going to bed. Be warned the best beds are queued for in the morning (these are the beds across the centre by the Jacuzzi as they get sun from sunrise to sunset). The clientele attracted by the hotel is quite mixed and everyone was friendly, by the end of the stay it felt like you were on holiday with friends.
I can only comment on the room we stayed in which was F block facing the pool (F501). This room was way beyond my expectations, it had a double balcony and had the sun all day, it is in a block nearer to the GC1 but we definitely did not suffer any motorway noise. The room was cleaned on a daily basis, with towels changed every 3 days and linen after 5. I had no issues with the cleanliness of the room at any point during the stay.
There are a few shops nearby to the hotel and a shopping complex within 10 minutes walk which has a decent sized supermarket, shoes, clothes (including Zara) and perfume shops, well worth a stroll when the sun goes down. It is worth noting that there is a small cafe next to the hotel which offers decent coffee and free internet (you won't get either of these at the hotel).
I would definitely recommend the Dunas Mirador, it offers good value for money and is close enough to the local resorts for you to benefit from them but far enough away that you don%u2019t get the hassle of being in a busy resort.
