The Lordos Beach Hotel is set in its own gardens which lead directly onto the sandy beach of Larnaca Bay. Shops, tavernas and bars are all close by whilst a 1o-minute drive along Dhekelia Road will bring you to Larnaca town centre.
The resort of Larnaca Bay is approx 14km from Larnaca Airport.
Facilities
The hotel has extensive amenities including a lobby which houses a 24-hour reception desk with check-out service, currency exchange service and hotel safe. In addition there is a TV/reading room, conference facilities, a cloakroom, a newspaper stand, lift access to the upper floors, room and laundry service (local charges apply) and wireless internet access (local charge).
Guests can choose to eat at either the main buffet restaurant with covered poolside patio or at the more formal restaurant offering an elegant A la Carte menu. Drinks can be taken at the poolside snack bar, beach snack bar, cocktail lounge or on the open air sun deck overlooking the Mediterranean.
In the grounds and laid out near the beach is an outdoor swimming pool with water cascades which is surrounded by a sun terrace furnished with sunbeds and parasols. There is also an outdoor jacuzzi and guests can walk down to the beach and use one of the sunbeds laid out ready for use or enjoy the watersports which can be found there including windsurfing, waterskiing, canoes and pedaloes (some sports may incur a local fee).
A on-site leisure area features a heated indoor swimming pool (heated in Winter), well equipped gym, aerobics classes, steam bath, jacuzzi, beauty salon and massage service (some services incur local charges).
Sporting activities include floodlit tennis and beach volleyball.
Children have the choice of the paddling pool, mini water park and kid's club.
