Situated halfway between the popular holiday destinations of Pathos and Limassol both around 30km away, makes Pissouri the ideal base for easy access into each town. Both Limassol and Paphos feature a number of historic and archaeological sites, numerous shopping opportunities, a lively night scene and each has its own waterpark.
Around 3km from Pissouri is the famed Aphrodite's Rock, where mythology states as the birthplace of Aphrodite. Climbing is not permitted on the rock and the sea here is generally to rough for swimming, though there is a restaurant and tourist pavilion close by.
