Small village, good range of tavernas. Far enough away from the main resorts to be relatively quiet and secluded, although Polis is a five minute drive away with more facilities (bank, baker, pharmacy etc).

Things to do
The region boasts some excellent opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities, such as hiking, cycling, horse-riding, diving and even golf (the Tsada Golf Course is 25mins away).
The Akamas Peninsula is within easy reach of Polis, and can be explored by boat, jeep or foot. This scenic corner of Cyprus is a protected natures reserve and home to the deep Avakas Gorge, Lara Bay a nesting ground for the protected loggerhead and green back turtles, and the Baths of Aphrodite (believed to be the bathing place of the Goddess of love and beauty).
