Special Information
As important as it is to have fun whilst on your holiday, it’s much more important to make sure you stay safe and follow the rules set out in your chosen destination during your time there. From April 1st there will be some changes on drinking and eating on the picturesque island of Majorca, and if you’re found eating or drinking on the streets of certain areas of Palma you’ll face a fine of up to €3,000. This new law only applies to certain areas of the island’s capital including the centre, Cala Major, Paseo Maritimo and all of Playa de Palma. The fine also applies to bars so they can no longer promote happy hours or show alcohol displays. Local police will be focusing their attention on these popular tourist areas to control drinking and antisocial behaviour in a bid to reduce the strains on A&E departments. You’ll still be able to enjoy the delicious food and drink on the island, but you’ll need to make sure you keep inside bars, restaurants and clubs when doing so. A lot of popular bars will have barriers to stop partygoers from taking drinks out onto the streets which, as an added benefit will prevent illegal sellers and pickpockets getting in.
Please note; A new Eco-Tax has been approved in the Balearic Islands. This Eco Tax will apply for stays from the 01.07.2016 (tax also payable for stays that include this date). This tax is payable directly to the accommodation, this includes hotels, apartments, villas, hostals, B&B's and cruise ships. The amount payable is between 0.5 euro and 2 Euro per person per night depending on the category of the establishment and the season.
Location
The hotel is located by the beach and is 36km from Palma de Mallorca Airport.

Staff friendly and efficient, lovely breakfast and good choice. There could be more information about things to do and local transport around the island available in the hotel. The hotel bedrooms are very spacious and well decorated. The hotel location is right on the beach.

Lovely hotel, right in the centre of Soller, across from a lovely beach. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable all done up lovely and spotlessly clean. You got a fridge free of charge and a safe. Beds very comfy had a great sleep. Side view room had a lovely view from the balcony.
Food for me was ok; I'm a fussy eater but you could always get something you liked. Desserts were good. Chocolate cake was amazing.

Terrible. Food terrible on the buffet, went half board. We had to eat out most nights. Superior room ok, apart from the air conditioning which only worked occasionally and when it did the bathroom ceiling leaked water all over, it was that bad we had to get the bucket out of the pedal bin to catch it. Reported it to reception about four times to no avail.

Never tire of returning to this hotel. Revamped rooms are delightful with fridge, safe and tea making facilities adding to our comfort. Food is delicious and well presented and the staff are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble. We had a fantastic stay and will hopefully be returning soon.

The Eden hotel must have the best position in the resort. We had a room looking straight out over the bay which was beautiful. You can lie by the pool still with the view of the bay. You can dip into the lovely clean pool or nip down the steps and dip in the sea. Perfect! The hotel itself has been described as tired although I found it fine. It was all very clean and staff were friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the food. We were half board. It was a buffet type meal every night and with some very strange combinations of food. (Cauliflower and strawberry salad!). But I suppose it has to cater for all tastes!
There is to be a makeover this winter to bring the hotel up to date. Unfortunately this means that also their prices have gone up fairly dramatically for next year meaning we won't be able to afford to return which I am sad about!

Absolutely great hotel, one of the best 3* hotels we have ever stayed in! And better than some 4* hotels too.
We arrived at midnight, to be told a lovely mixed salad, rolls and bottled water awaited us in the dining room. Was greatly appreciated. Staff are extremely friendly, helpful at reception, restaurant, bar. Cleaning staff also, who do an excellent job.
Meals were varied, great selections every night, especially fish. The location of this hotel was the icing on the cake for us. Just a few steps from the pool, across the promenade and we were on the beach. We hired a room safe and fridge, and pool towels.
All these things made for us a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Well done Sunshine holidays for offering this peach of a hotel on your site.

We have stayed in Eden Hotel many times and find it to meet all our needs. The only downside is the food which is a bit hit and miss. The Hotel itself is having an upgrade and I tried to book for next year but think the price hike will take it out of budget.

At 3 star great value for money. Location and food (breakfast and dinner) excellent. Next season I understand it will be graded 4 star, but with substantial price increases.

This is a lovely hotel, clean and comfortable with nice food and great service. Our bedroom floor was cleaned every day and there was never a day we couldn't find something nice to eat at the buffet. Small but not overcrowded pool. Comfy beds and quiet at night. Bliss!

Enjoyed our stay at the Eden, rooms adequate, clean and visited by maid every day. Breakfast we thought was very good, plenty of choice. Great location right across from the beach. Would though have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Otherwise we would certainly return to the Eden.
