The coastal village of Banyalbufar is located in the Tramuntana Mountains on the west coast of Majorca.

In and around the village there are a few hotels and some local shops and bars to relax in, with a peaceful setting. Popular with walkers and cyclist due to the many hikes and trails in the area. Palma is around 35km away.

The beach
Cala Banyalbufar is a stony beach situated in a small cove surrounded by cliffs. The beach is 100-metres in length and has an average width of 15-metres, due to its location there are no facilities here and access is via a steep stairway.
Things to do nearby
The emphasis on staying in this area of Majorca is to enjoy the great outdoors with many hikes and trails to by found, there are a number of charming villages worth a visit with cobbled lanes and historical buildings of interest, such as the Carthusian Monasater in Valldemossa and in Deya the former residence of Robert Graves.
