Waited an hour to be checked in and was advised they had forgot about us. Safe not working, complained 3 times no joy. Not much variety of food for breakfast.

The hotel is a bit dated, there's pipe music played in the reception and dining room that is a bit eary and could be made more modern. The room was in need of a make over but the maid service was superb. I found the reception staff very helpful but the dining area staff were only interested in Cypriots and Russians. I stayed Half Board and it was confusing that on some evenings I was charged for soft drinks and then on others I wasn't. The food was varied and as expected, the only problem was the Russians often sniffing something then putting it back or the mess they made. The safe deposit box in the room was free of charge which was good and on the last day I was allowed the use of the shower room as I had a late flight. Overall I wouldn't stay at the Tsokkos Gardens again but it was a decent base for my holiday.

Great choice of pools, allows access to sister hotel with water park, rooms are quite basic but accommodate all needs and a great choice of buffet style foods for all meals!

Rooms were ok but a bit dated. The pool was nice, around the pool was filthy it wasn't cleaned once during our whole stay maybe it was because it was not long before they shut down for winter. Loads of sun beds to choose from and towels were 10 Euro deposit each which you got back when towels were returned. Safe and fridge in room. Public toilets in hotel stunk and were dirty, it looked like they were only cleaned in the mornings.

Only gripes are the 30 euro charge per week for wifi and the daily 2 euro charge for the fridge! Food was plentiful and good selection. Needs decorating - would do better if they removed the wallpaper and just painted the walls. Poolside area kept very clean, never had to fight for a sun bed. Russians, same as anywhere else in the world, rude! We will be going back next year.

It was a very clean hotel and anyone who worked for the the hotel went out of their way to help you. They were so nice and friendly. I have been all over the word travelling and I must say that it's one of the best hotels I have been to. Food was excellent and so much choice. I have no complaints about the food. The staff who look after the bedroom cleaners were there all
the time for you. The room were excellent, cool air with a safe and fridge.

First time I have been at a pool with plenty of sun loungers. Everybody seem to enjoy themselves and a minute away from the beach. I would like to thank all your staff for the help they have given, waiters, bedroom and cleaners. It was nice to get up in the morning feel good and to have had a good nights sleep. I will be there next year, so thank you for all the help to make my stay brilliant.

I'd been here 6 yrs ago, thought it wasn't as good as then. Rooms a bit dated, the reception toilets were awful. Staff were very good and helpful. Food was just ok. Plenty of sun beds. The entertainment team tried hard but not as brilliant as the previous ones. Thought 10pm was too late for entertainment to start. Should have separate area for kids and adults.

All inclusive at this hotel doesn't mean "all inclusive". Bottled water, diet soft drinks, safe, fridge, TV remote and pool towels are either chargeable or a deposit needed. The indoor pool area is awful and deserted - an indoor pool was needed due to a sandstorm and we were unable to go outside. But decided against it as the lights were off, the pool wasn't heated and it was damp and unpleasant. The massage and hairdresser was actually at another hotel and not available at this hote l- despite what it said online.

We arrived at approx 10pm and were only offered a dried out sandwich, no veggie option. On the last day we were unable to get any drinks after 12 noon despite not leaving the hotel until 6:30pm and it being 40 degrees. I complained because we had paid for 14 days all inclusive but barely gained 12 full days because of the cut off on food on day 1 and day 14 but no one was bothered!

The maids cleaned the room well, however the balcony door was always left unlocked. The food was nice but a lot of the tables we sat at rocked. There were too many tables in the dining room so hard to get to your table when it was busy. The queue for the bar was in a doorway making it difficult to get by if the bar queue was long.

Overall I made the most of my holiday, the pools were nice and the entertainment was ok but this was a big step down from the standard we have had before in RIU hotels.

Another lovely two weeks at Tsokkkos. Yes a little updating is needed here and there especially in the hallways but there does appear to be an on-going maintenance programme. New dining room extension. Some petty things like deposit for a remote to a pre-historic telly! But all in all I like it here and would come again. Thanks to Chucky Ivan Phillippa and Fani all the One Stop entertainment team for making it all so memorable. Thanks to Angela at the pool side bar for keeping our glasses full and Julie at the main evening bar. Good to see you all again.

Staff at this hotel are five star. Reviewed yesterday. As the title states the staff here make this hotel and are a credit to the Tsokkos brand. This was our first stay in Cyprus, we stayed 27th May till 3rd June. Nothing was too much bother for any of them and so many went out the way to help from the receptionist, doormen, night watch, waiters and bar staff. The hotel is very clean and our rooms were spotless.
The pool and surrounding area is very child friendly, no slippery tiles and no broken sun beds. Never a fight for a sunbed or shade either, could always find space. Food was nice, the hotel tries to cater for English and other nationalities, sometimes not to our taste but even still not one person had a icky tummy, which usually can happen. We stayed half board so brought our own drinks in, so can't comment on them really, however we did order drinks once at dinner and they took so long to get from the waiters and then only half came we decided not to order again (this could of been a one off as the restaurant at the time was very busy). Beds and rooms were adequate for two adults and a child but on the small side, but with the fabulous Cyprus weather who cares.
The kids club is run by Thomas Cook and we used this a few times, the staff were fab and my kids really enjoyed the activities they put on, the night and day pool entertainment is run through one stop entertainment and they are fantastic at what they do. We only saw one night show, rock of ages show which was fab, pool entertainment consists of usual aerobics, water polo, volleyball, etc and a few kids pool games.
Area the hotel is situated is quiet with a few pubs but 15 minutes walk either road or beach walk and you will be at the beginning of the Protaras strip. So best of both worlds. Taxi is about 8 euros. Overall fantastic hotel, fantastic staff, ok food.
