Zafiro Rey Don Jaime Hotel

The Zafiro Rey Don Jaime provides a comfortable base, close to the beach and resort amenities. The hotel offers both indoor and outdoor pools, a wellness centre, fine dining and a varied entertainment programme.
The hotel is situated just 300m from Santa Ponsa Beach, close to a wide selection of tourist shops, bars and restaurants. Palma de Mallorca Airport is 30km away from the hotel.
Guests will be greeted by a choice of pools, including the main outdoor pool, an adults only sky pool on the fifth floor and an indoor pool. The outdoor pools are seasonal, the indoor pool area also offers spa facilities such as a sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath and massage services. Sports facilities include a fitness centre, darts, billiards and ping pong as well as bicycle rental (please note some may incur a local charge). The Santa Ponsa Tennis Club can also be found near the hotel, plus a golf package can be arranged through the hotel.
Wining and dining options include the main buffet restaurant, serving up all meals with Mediterranean or oriental flavours on themed dinner nights. There is also a pool bar, rooftop bar by the sky pool and cafeteria, where guests can enjoy the hotel's entertainment show.
Double rooms, Premium Double rooms and Family Suites are available. All rooms are air conditioned and have an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and hair dryer, a balcony, mini fridge, telephone, TV and WiFi. A safety deposit box is available to hire locally.
The all inclusive package consists of all meals; breakfast, lunch and dinner, served buffet style in the main restaurant. A variety of hot and cold snacks are available at selected times between meals. Locally produced alcoholic and soft drinks are served between 10:00-23:30 (subject to outlet opening times).

Please note; A new Eco-Tax has been approved in the Balearic Islands. This Eco Tax will apply for stays from the 01.07.2016 (tax also payable for stays that include this date). This tax is payable directly to the accommodation, this includes hotels, apartments, villas, hostals, B&B's and cruise ships. The amount payable is between 0.5 euro and 2 Euro per person per night depending on the category of the establishment and the season.
As important as it is to have fun whilst on your holiday, it’s much more important to make sure you stay safe and follow the rules set out in your chosen destination during your time there. From April 1st there will be some changes on drinking and eating on the picturesque island of Majorca, and if you’re found eating or drinking on the streets of certain areas of Palma you’ll face a fine of up to €3,000. This new law only applies to certain areas of the island’s capital including the centre, Cala Major, Paseo Maritimo and all of Playa de Palma. The fine also applies to bars so they can no longer promote happy hours or show alcohol displays. Local police will be focusing their attention on these popular tourist areas to control drinking and antisocial behaviour in a bid to reduce the strains on A&E departments. You’ll still be able to enjoy the delicious food and drink on the island, but you’ll need to make sure you keep inside bars, restaurants and clubs when doing so. A lot of popular bars will have barriers to stop partygoers from taking drinks out onto the streets which, as an added benefit will prevent illegal sellers and pickpockets getting in.
