Sol Katmandu Resort at Magaluf Park is within easy walking distance of the centre of Magaluf and included with every stay is FREE entry to Katmandu Park waterpark.


Location


The beach is approx 250m away with loungers and parasols available to hire. Palma Majorca Airport is approx 29km from the resort of Magaluf.


Facilities


The facilities provided for guests includes a 24-hour reception, medical assistance, internet access currency exchange and lift access. The hotel offers a swimming pool and a separate children’s pool, archery, shuffleboard, volleyball, sun terraces and a regular day and evening entertainment programme. A playground and kids club are also provided for the younger guests. Most areas of the hotel are wheelchair accessible.

The hotel also provides a buffet restaurant, lounge bar and a poolside bar.

The Sol Katmandu PLAY PASS is included free of charge in the guests’ stay (of two nights or more) and provided unlimited admission to a selection of attractions such as:

Play Pass Conditions:
Guests will receive their Play Pass at check-in, and a Play Pass Gold may be obtained upon arrival for an extra charge. Katopia Splash Park includes 120 minutes of play whilst Katopia Soft Park offers 90 minutes of play. Age and height restrictions apply. Water attractions are subject to weather conditions. Zombies! And Carnival XD Dark Ride are recommended for ages 9+.

Food is a disgrace

Please note; A new Eco-Tax has been approved in the Balearic Islands. This Eco Tax will apply for stays from the 01.07.2016 (tax also payable for stays that include this date). This tax is payable directly to the accommodation, this includes hotels, apartments, villas, hostals, B&B's and cruise ships. The amount payable is between 0.5 euro and 2 Euro per person per night depending on the category of the establishment and the season.

As important as it is to have fun whilst on your holiday, it’s much more important to make sure you stay safe and follow the rules set out in your chosen destination during your time there. From April 1st there will be some changes on drinking and eating on the picturesque island of Majorca, and if you’re found eating or drinking on the streets of certain areas of Palma you’ll face a fine of up to €3,000. This new law only applies to certain areas of the island’s capital including the centre, Cala Major, Paseo Maritimo and all of Playa de Palma. The fine also applies to bars so they can no longer promote happy hours or show alcohol displays. Local police will be focusing their attention on these popular tourist areas to control drinking and antisocial behaviour in a bid to reduce the strains on A&E departments. You’ll still be able to enjoy the delicious food and drink on the island, but you’ll need to make sure you keep inside bars, restaurants and clubs when doing so. A lot of popular bars will have barriers to stop partygoers from taking drinks out onto the streets which, as an added benefit will prevent illegal sellers and pickpockets getting in.
