Halley is the best place to stay in at Benidorm, we always stay in this hotel it's a wonderful clean hotel. Staff are so friendly and kind and all the staff go out off their way to make sure we have a great time. The apartments are very nice, clean and have everything you need to enjoy your holiday.

We have stayed quiet a few times at this accommodation, and it's getting worse. It is in dire need of a complete facelift. The apartment is truly dirty and I mean dirty. I can say the cleanest part of the building is the reception. We had booked a 1 bedroomed apartment, the kitchen sink was completely rusty, cooker filthy that was when we arrived. So we asked for a move, this was at 01:30, the doorman had a look and and decided to move us. But come the morning we asked for another move to a 2 bedroomed apartment as the kitchen in the 1 bedroomed apartments are very small indeed and once again cleanliness is really bad but the move cost me an extra 100 euro's so we finished up at 9a. If you get this apartment don't buy the wifi it doesn't work. The best thing about the halley is the wee man on reception. Take my advice and don't be attracted by the price. We spent our last 2 nights in the Nereo Hotel, great.

Apartments are basic but clean. Fine for groups but maybe a bit noisy for families. Staff are friendly. About a 5-10 minute walk to the square where the main bars are but loads of bars and shops nearer too. Just a few minutes to the beach, round the corner from KFC also Macdonalds and Burger King are down the road. Would definitely recommend the Big Ben breakfast restaurant which is just over the road for an excellent cooked breakfast. The apartments definitely needed an extra mirror as 5 girls trying to share a mirror in a boiling hot bathroom when getting ready for a night out was a bit of a nightmare. Also if the apartments had air conditioning we would have been happy to pay more to stay there because of the good location. Would stay there again for a group holiday but not in the really hot months because of there being no air conditioning.

Have stayed here on a number of occasions. The apartments are reasonably priced, very clean, well equipped and above all safe.

Clean, tidy and very basic but did the job. Staff very nice, food nice, drinks very affordable. Need to take down the big tree next to the pool, it blocked out the sun most of the day. All in all had a lovely stay.

The apartment was clean. The beds were comfortable. The location ok. The apartment was pretty basic. 1 small mirror in bathroom. Not practical with 5 ladies.

We stayed at the Halley last year, and since then they have improved the rooms by giving them a coat of paint and although they are clean and very basic they have now got a flat screen TV, kettle and toaster; also ours had a new fridge/freezer. They don't have a hair dryer. All have a safe which is a good thing. We had our towels changed once in the middle of our stay.

There is a 24 hour reception with the gate locked after about midnight, to get in you ring the bell on the left hand side of the gate and night reception comes and lets you in. The pool area and bar is kept clean and tidy. The bar is reasonably priced for snacks and drink. They've replaced some of the sun beds with ones with adjustable backs which are more comfortable.

It's away from the noise of the centre of Benidorm but only a 10 minute flat walk. The downside to Halley's is it caters for a lot of Stag and Hen parties; we had about 6 or 7 our first weekend. They were very noisy through the day round the pool but must admit didn't get out of hand. Fortunately most of them are there just for the weekend. To be honest this wouldn't put us off staying there again and we're both over 65.
