We have stayed many times at Green Bungalows, everyone is so helpful and friendly and you are made so welcome. The rooms are cleaned daily, fresh bedding and towels etc. The food was always fresh and really tasty and the prices are great. The bar staff are great, you can have a right laugh. George and his mum Catherine make you feel like part of the family and go above and beyond to make your holiday a great one. Obviously in the summer its more full with younger party people and boy what a time you will have. We went in May / June and it's a good mixture of families and older couples and its perfect as we have a 10 year old and she loved it. Just go and see for yourself. We have been going for 17-18 years now and we love it.

Really good atmosphere around the hotel. Room was very spacious and food was very appetising. Very convenient as it is right by the strip and there is a shop on the premises that is open until 1am. Definitely recommended.

There was five of us altogether so we shared a 2 bedroomed apartment. Arrived at about 8.30 pm on the 15/09/15 for a week, it was to celebrate my 50th birthday. Was given a room on the second floor which was quite a few steps to go up and at the opposite end of the landing over looking another block at the back of the apartments, not a great view but we were ok. The following morning the owner/manager offered us an upgrade to either two, one bedroom apartments or a refurbished two bedroom apartment both overlooking the pool, we all wanted to stay together so took the two bed, which may I add was really nice and no extra charge. We got a small reduction on the air conditioning as we got it for both bedrooms. The same day went to the hotel bar and asked for the drinks list for the happy hour which was 12-1 and 9-10 and was told by the lovely Kristina that happy hour had finished in the afternoon as that was only in peak season, so I pointed out that it was still advertised in the reception, she went and spoke to the manager and sent his apologies and agreed for us to have one, but the lovely Kristina let us have happy hour all day and every day after that if she was working ha ha. There was plenty of sun loungers, we rented a safety deposit box in reception, apartments were kitted with everything but a toaster but you could rent one if you wanted to, but the food was really good on site. The location was brilliant as if you turned left you walked up to the top of the hill and round the corner and you were on the strip, if you turned right you went down to the shops and then onto the harbour. All staff were great, couldn't do enough for us, on our last day we needed to be out by 12.00 but weren't getting picked up till 6pm so we asked the day before if we could keep the room on till we left, asked what the charge would be and replied by saying if we spent around 50 euros between us over the course of the day that would be fine, by the time we all had our tea and a drink we had spent enough. It was a definite thumbs up from us 5 ladies.

The hotel manager / owner and all staff could not have been more accommodating to us all if they tried. They were absolutely brilliant. There were five of us ladies staying together to celebrate my 50th birthday, we was given a two bedroom apartment on the second floor with no lift and at the far end of the long landing which was quite basic, but we was only there for a week so not too particular apart from the steps. Bearing in mind what we had paid, we wasn't expecting the Ritz. The manager came to us the morning after we arrived and offered to move us to a refurbished room over looking the pool which, may I add, the pool was a good size, or two one bed basic rooms to make it easier for us all to get ready. We chose the refurbished room as to stay together which was really nice with no extra charge and we was also given a reduction on the air con as we wanted it for both rooms.

There was happy hour twice a day but the afternoon was peak season only to the end of August so said it had finished when we arrived on the 15/09/15. We pointed out it was still advertised in reception and a lady called Kristina that was the bar tender went to point this out to the manager and said it was available to only us. It was then taken down off the board. At the end of our holiday we asked if it was possible to keep our room on 'til tea time as we had a night flight, he said yes and would normally charge 30 euro but if we spent around 50 euro over the bar during in the course of the day he would call it quits, which to be fair by the time we all had bought our evening meal and a drink each we had covered it. May I also add the food was really good and was very generous with the portions too and not too over priced either.

There was plenty of sun loungers for everyone, you could rent a safety deposit box in reception which we did, there was a fridge and a 2 ring hob in the room but no toaster! The apartments had a mixture of ages from the old to the young but was always a great atmosphere at all times. As for the location it was spot on if you came out of the front and turned right. It took you down to the shopping area and the harbour and if you turned left and to the top of the street you was on the strip for all the clubs and bars. We didn't know how close it was as we walked all the way round to get to the square, it was our rep that told us, but would never have known it as we never heard it. All in all had a fabulous time and a great stay at The Green Bungalows and fantastic staff.

Clean rooms. Sick pool parties and really friendly staff. Have to pay for everything on top though; aircon for 10 days was 100 euro and wifi was 50 euro. I was better off buying 3G on my phone. Good location for the square.
