I stayed three nights here in April and it was excellent. Good clean room with a sea view. Tasty breakfast (the only drawback being that it wasn't served until 0800h - on some days I would have preferred it earlier). Good staff. Nice location.

Rooms are basic but cleaned every day. We had a late flight so we enquired about keeping the room on and it was going to be 50 euros for every 3 hours. There is nowhere to leave luggage only in reception behind desk. We were lucky we had a car so we stored in there. There is a shower down under pool to use and get changed but no lightening leading down to it. Staff are friendly but don't understand English as staff are Polish and Russian. Lovely location.

The apartments were excellent and the cleaners came in every day and the staff were very helpful. The location of the apartments are in a great place, overlooking the beach and 5 mins walk to the resort centre where all the bars are. The only fault I could find was that the cooking facilities were very basic and not many pots and pans so if you were planning on doing a lot of cooking you may struggle, as we were not cooking it was ideal for us.

The apartments were very clean and very spacious and in a great spot overlooking the sea and a nice ten minutes from where all the bars are. The only down side to them were the cooking facilities which are very basic if you are planning to do a lot of cooking in them which we were not so they are ideal for us and we are planning to go back there later on the summer.

I have done many self caterings in Protaras but I am afraid Evalena was just not up to it. Whilst the Evalena is in a very good location, the apartments and the staff are not worthy of this location. The apartment we stayed in was very basic with a fridge, kettle and a 2 ring solid plate hob which had seen better days. I would have expected a toaster too as every other apartment in Cyprus has had one but not in the Evalena. I questioned this at reception to be met with a flat no by the Russian woman on duty. She was very unhelpful. I asked her about ironing facilities and she said you can have an iron for 2 euro a day. Something I had never heard of. We were not welcomed when we arrived and not asked if our stay had been a good one when checking out. Long periods of time with nobody at reception with room keys and passports on display. No printing facilities to print out return boarding passes which I find absurd. It's a shame. The Evalena has the potential to be a great set of apartments in an excellent location but is spoilt by miserable staff, lack of facilities and poor room appliances.

Beds were quite hard. Was told that rooms had hairdryers but then had to hire one. Had to pay for safe which was on full view in reception.

Room was comfortable, staff were helpful and friendly, can't comment on food as we ate out. Family friendly and far enough away from the bars and restaurants to be peaceful.

The family that own the apartments are very friendly.
