Beaches

The beach at Los Cristianos sits in a sweeping bay and is sheltered by the harbour. It has a wide stretch of golden sand and is very well serviced with sun loungers, shades and water sports. The beach is backed by a pedestrianised promenade with wall to wall beach bars and pavement cafes. The other side of the harbour you have the wide sandy beach of Playa de la Vistas where there are volleyball courts and the waters are sheltered by breakwaters.

Things to Do

Get up early and watch the fisherman at work in the harbour or get up late and go on a lazy pleasure cruise instead. The harbour is a hive of activity with plenty of boat trips available such as, sports fishing trips, ferries to neighbouring islands, pleasure cruises, whale and dolphin watching.

Stroll along the promenade. Heading south out of the resort you will soon arrive at the protected natural area of Montana de Guaza where you can follow the paths into the park. Heading in the opposite direction you can walk along the promenade behind the harbour and Las Vistas beach, through Playa de Las Americas and along the sea front for miles and miles passing the beaches of the Costa Adeje and the Puerto Colon marina all the way to El Duque.

Out and About

There are endless bars and restaurants in Los Cristianos as well as plenty of tourist shops near the beach and every day shops in the town centre. There are many seafood restaurants serving fresh fish from the harbour and an abundance of international menus.

In the San Telmo district you will find many a chic bar and, on the other side of Las Vistas beach heading towards Playa de las Americas, there are some excellent restaurants and designer shops in the Safari Centre.
