The apartment was cleanish. The toilet door was starting to perish through water damage, the wall mirror was starting to rust at the bottom and several tiles around the bath were broken. All 4 legs of one of the chairs were attached to the seat by small metal brackets. The TV was an old CRT model with 3 English channels which stopped as soon as there was some bad weather. The apartment and the equipment are dated and the walls are so thin that the slightest noise is amplified. The sunbeds are not the cleanest and are starting to break. We loved Alcudia but we won't be staying at the Bellevue on any future visits.

My wife and I just got back from a week in the Bellevue Club in Alcudia. However we have a number of complaints that we feel are well worth mentioning. We found the staff in the reception very unwilling to help when we first arrived and we were kept waiting in reception for an hour and a half just to get booked in.
When we finally got booked in we had asked the gentleman on reception to be put in an apartment on a higher floor so we could enjoy the mallorcan sunshine sitting on our balcony. We were put in Room 603 in Minerva 2 only to discover in the afternoon of the 2nd day that the sun did not shine on the balcony at any time during the day. We then returned to the reception asked the girl if we could change rooms as we did not get any sun shining on our balcony as we had originally requested. We informed the receptionist at this point that we would rather sit on the balcony than at the pool. At this point she looked at us as if we had four heads. Again she was unhelpful and we could not believe her attitude not only were we complaining about the fact that the apartment was not what we had asked for i.e. where we could get the sun but we had gone self-catering and the kitchen utensils and equipment were unacceptable. There was no microwave oven, no toaster and the kettle took 8 minutes to boil. The cups etc were also not of an acceptable size. The electrics in the room were in a dangerous condition. The fridge door would not close because the freezer part was completely covered in thick ice. The wall lights were hanging of the walls which, as a retired electrician, could not be considered to be safe and the television should have been put in a bin about 20 years ago. It was a 14" portable that had the on/off and channel buttons and volume controls taken out of the side of it so you had to hire a remote control to work the television.

Minerva 2 does not have a swimming pool so people in our complex, Minerva 2 had to use either the pool in front of Minerva 1 or the pool at the Leda blocks which was like watching an episode of the The Jeremy Kyle show and almost impossible to find somewhere to sit at the pool. We are confused as to why if there is a path that leads to the street why does it dead end at the fence. From where we were staying to the street was quite an unnecessary walk if the fence had not been there we would have not had quite as long a walk. We are a couple in our 60s and found the walk quite taxing and frustrating when it seemed unnecessary. It was only after we had been there a couple of days that we found that there was a shortcut from Minerva 2 to the street. The receptionist did not inform us or any of the other guests that there was a more accessible way to get to the street. We were also aware that the housekeeping/cleaners only came into the room on 1 occasion to clean and we had to ask them for clean towels. They did provide the towels but did not even mop or wipe any of the surfaces or even change the bedding.

We would definitely return to Alcudia but under no circumstances would we stay in the Bellevue Club. We have stayed in a number of complexes in Mallorca and we are not aware of what the rest of the complex is like but we are definitely of the opinion that Minerva 2 is "the pits" and not worth the money. The comments we heard from other guests seemed to suggest that they were of the same opinion.

Rooms a little bit dated but clean and tidy. We stayed in a block overlooking the lake, very quiet and serene The resort was nice with plenty to do. All in all it was a lovely break and quite cheap.

We usually travel to Turkey and for the price we paid and level of comfort I would rate Belle Vue as 2-3 star complex. Food was mainly catered for the Germans staying there. Minimal children's foods offered. Insufficient room in the all inclusive dining hall as we queued every meal time. Pools were inadequate for the size of the complex as the website and representatives state that Belle Vue is the largest hotel in Alcudia. We've stayed in Majorca before at a very similar hotel Club Mac (Marte) hotel near Belle Vue and that hotel compared to this is, in my my opinion, 5 star. We've witnessed people complaining about the rooms and state of complex. Also we've seen rats around the lake area and we were bitten by mosquitoes all over the complex. As it was a holiday and a special anniversary we will remember it for all the wrong reasons. As we aren't people for complaining we managed to get by because we are easy going.

Very nice complex for the price. Food could be a little more selective and the prices in the restaurant are expensive if you are not all inclusive. Would recommend bed and breakfast and go out for your meals at night as there is plenty of nice places near Bellevue to eat.

Rooms are modern and spacious with shower/bath and mini fridge and safety deposit box. Rooms are cleaned 3 times a week including bath and hand towels. 8 pools to choose from all with a bar and sunbeds. Umbrellas you have to buy from the supermarket on site and bring your own towels. Evening entertainment caters for all with kids disco followed by games for adults then a professional act is in ending with a disco till midnight. There is a nightclub/karaoke sports bar on site open till 3am but isn't part of all inclusive. The food is ok in the buffet restaurant but I advise you pay the extra to upgrade so you can eat in the much better restaurant near the active pool as the variety and cleanliness is 100% better. The snacks and drinks are great though. There is a nice restaurant on site called Black & White where all inclusive customers get a 25% discount on food and drinks which is very nice. The location is ideal, it's close to shops and bars and only a 10 minute walk to the lovely beach.

Rooms in poor state, black mould on bathroom ceiling, massive complex, took over one hour to check in. The worst experience was at meal times it was chaos and a feeding frenzy had to fight your way round to get food never again. Lots of extras for children eg karts, funfair etc but all payable so be aware!

The room we stayed in was lovely and big, had 4 good size single beds and clean fresh bedding which was changed daily; a fridge, a shower and bath. There was 7 pools all good size and very clean, there was always a sun bed. The food was standard all inclusive. But the breakfast was fab. It's a fantastic family holiday. Clean friendly and close to a beautiful beach.

We were a little concerned after reading very mixed reviews but I have to say we were very pleased with our stay at Bellevue. We had two people in our group with poor mobility which I had mentioned when booking. When we arrived the reception staff were lovely, he upgraded us and put all three families in the same block Minerva 1. All were clean and towels changed 3 times during our week stay. All staff were lovely, polite and helpful. Food, good selection at breakfast, lunch and evening meals. We booked all inclusive it didn't cost a fortune my granddaughter loved the kiddies disco every evening. We would go back as a family group. Only down side, cost of Go Karting very expensive.
