Music far too loud and too long, first room absolute disgrace, dirty rusty taps, loads rubbish under bed, dirty washing up brush, no kettle, limited cutlery. Hotel has gone downhill a lot, the restaurant was empty.

Moved rooms 3 times. This hotel is very tired. Could hardly sleep due to air conditioning unit banging on wall. Then moved to room above disco speakers. Some nights they played music 'til 6am with no customers in. Rooms very small and dark.

The Mutlu Apartments are in a great place near to all the resort amenities. The pool is a decent size with sunbeds around it. The sun has trouble getting to it in the morning due to the buildings around it and the apartment block itself. On arrival I was greeted by the lovely reception staff with a fruit cocktail.

I was given an apartment on the first floor overlooking the pool area. It had everything you'd expect - fridge, kettle etc. The bedroom and bathroom were both internal rooms so did not have a window which was a wee bit claustrophobic. The shower had seen better days and is in need of a bit of a refurb, the floor around the fridge needed a really good clean and the TV didn't work, however I didn't want to watch it anyway! Apart from these few things, I thought the accommodation was great for the price I paid and I'd definitely go back there again.

Great location, the room was quite large with a separate bedroom and bathroom. Lots of storage space and a great view of the pool. The room did need a good clean to be honest, if it's like this at the start of the season, what's it going to be like mid way through?

Not the cleanest. Had to ask for sheets to be changed and ask for clean towels. Not once was the apartment cleaned in the 2 weeks we were there but the 2 small bins were emptied regularly. Not the most helpful staff. The only plus was that the apartment was spacious.

The room didn't get cleaned until day 12, the cleaner kept leaving the door open, we had to request clean towels and bedding because the cleaner had just turned the sheets over.

The family have taken over this hotel and is now much better. More professional. Rooms are basic and could do with updating a bit. They don't provide the accepted extras now such as microwave and toaster. Otherwise spacious and adequate. The rest of aparthotel is really very nice, It's very clean with regular towel and sheet changes. Location right in the resort, perfect really. I like the pool and area and service to the pool has improved. It has a nice kids area too. Staff are more approachable and much friendlier than before. It is suitable for everyone, families, couples and lone travellers. I have been quite a few times to the Mutlu and will certainly go again.

I can't fault Mutlu, we stayed in a nice sized apartment which was regularly cleaned, all the staff were friendly, we didn't use the pool or restaurant so can't comment on those. Mutlu is in a good position under 10 minutes walk from beach and bars. You can hire a safe for £10 which is in your room, air conditioning is a bit pricey £80 for 2 weeks but that's the same in all hotels in Altinkum. Will definitely use Mutlu again.

Rooms were kept very clean, the maids do a fantastic job, the air conditioning was expensive. The pool area could do with a tidy up, all the beds are packed together, you felt like sardines.
