Although a small, quiet area it does offer a great local market, taxi services and a cross section of many outlets. A welcome mixture of both tourist and local community.

Ozdere is very remote and not much around but the hotel was very big and loads to do (shops, beach, pools, slides and lovely food) so we never got bored.

The long golden sands of Ozdere beach are lapped by clear and shallow crystal clear blue waters, ideal for swimming and safe for children. There are a number of smaller bays dotted along the coastline, which some of the larger resort style hotels occupy.
Things to Do
You can take a boat trip from the harbour along the coastline to a secluded cove or spend the day on the Greek island of Samos.
Activities available at the resort include cycling and hiking, pedalos and banana boats, surfing and water skiing.
Out and About
There is a good choice of bars and restaurants with international menus to suit all tastes as well as local seafood restaurants serving tasty dishes of freshly caught fish. The town has supermarkets and amenities for your everyday needs, such as a pharmacy and ATM banking.
The stalls at Ozdere Market sell local handicrafts such as jewellery and pottery, fresh fruit, vegetables and spices and this takes place on Saturdays.
Approx half an hour drive away, the well preserved remains of the ancient city of Ephesus really is a sight to behold. The library, amphitheatre and city buildings offer an impressive insight to daily life, so many centuries ago.
Adaland Aqua Park, Dolphin Park and Sea Park are located next to each other and offer plenty of activities and entertainment for all ages. The parks are open daily from May to September and located approx 30km south of Ozdere on the way to Kusadasi.
Kusadasi (36km south) offers a lively nightlife, a good variety of shopping from the designer shopping centres at the marina and the harbour, to the bazaars and street markets. Add to that the string of beaches along its coastline, a cosmopolitan atmosphere, its close proximity to Ephesus and you can see why it's a port of call for so many cruise ships.
