ATOL protection so you can book with confidence
You’ll be happy to know that any flight-inclusive package holiday you book through Sunshine will be fully protected through ATOL. This means that you have financial security if we, or one of our travel suppliers has a problem and you won’t ever lose the money you paid or be stranded in a foreign country.
Sunshine.co.uk Limited is an Accredited Body Member of On the Beach Travel Ltd (ATOL number 11549).
When am I covered with ATOL protection?
Some of the flights and flight-inclusive holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. But ATOL protection does not apply to all holidays and travel services listed on this website. This website will provide you with information on the protection that applies in the case of each holiday and travel service offered before you make your booking.
If you book a package holiday with us that does not include a flight (for example if you book a hotel with transfers), all monies paid to us in relation to that holiday will be fully protected by insurance in the event of our insolvency. This insurance protection has been arranged by International Passenger Protection Limited. Please see our terms and conditions for more information about financial protection.
If you do not receive an ATOL certificate then the booking will not be ATOL protected. If you do receive an ATOL certificate but all of the parts of your trip are not listed on it, those parts will not be ATOL protected. Please see our booking conditions for further information or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL certificate go to www.caa.co.uk

The UK government has confirmed that the earliest the UK will leave the European Union (EU) is Friday 12th April. When you book a package holiday though Sunshine, you’re protected by the comprehensive Package Travel Regulations. This means that you’ll be entitled to either a full refund or alternative if your holiday cannot be provided. The government has already confirmed that “If the UK leave the EU without a deal, after March 29 2019, your protections will stay the same if you buy a package holiday from a UK-based business”.
