Overview
The hotel is located in front of the Salgados beach accessed by wooden walkways and is adjacent to the Salgados golf course, a family-friendly property with facilities for both adults and children to enjoy.
Location
Vidamar Algarve Hotel is located next to the Salgado Golf Course and right next to the Salgados dunes and 6km long sandy beach. It is also close to the unspoiled surroundings of the nature reserve (300m). The resort town of Gale is approx 1.8km and Albufeira is also just a short drive away (9km).
Faro Airport is approximately 50km away.
Facilities
There is a Kids Club to keep younger guests entertained, nursery services for the little ones (extra charge), and an evening entertainment programme during the summer months.
Guests can access the exclusive Mar Club (must be pre-booked at the hotel 24 hours prior), where exclusive amenities such as a heated pool with Jacuzzis, an outdoor massage cabin and Bali beds await.
Further facilities at the hotel include a wellness centre with an indoor pool and a fitness room, hairdressers and spa facilities such as a Jacuzzi, sauna, ice fountain and Turkish Bath (extra charges may apply).
Guests can enjoy buffet-style meals at the Ocean Buffet Restaurant, or dine at the Italian Restaurant for a local charge.
