No hot water for 2 weeks. Food terrible. Drinks rubbish. Saving grace was the grounds and bar staff and animation team.

Have been to Turkey 22 times, 12 to Marmaris, 2 to Pineta (1st 2010). We knew what to expect for £12.50 a day AI so we found the hotel, room, food, facilities as before. The staff worked very hard, long hours, under great pressure, for very little money so the hotel is worth 2 suns, but the "guests" zero suns. There are up to 1000 Russians there, most are rude, abusive, aggressive and have no manners. The pool was regularly closed for "cleaning" possibly because local women went in with their normal clothes on. Even though we knew what it might be like we were surprised by the "guests" behaviour. In our opinion this hotel is not suitable for British visitors.

Run down, stone cold food, veggies for breakfast and chicken every meal. Internet a waste of time, I stood at reception and still unable to receive. Had 4 weddings at the hotel which meant no entertainment for guests, had to eat out most days which is not good as I was supposed to be all inclusive.

Great staff, food good, clean and tidy, only problems rooms a little shabby round the edges. This was our 3rd visit, this was the only time we had no whisky or brandy on all inclusive. Could not get a straight answer why they had none.

Last year we were in the 'Club Pineta' and were thoroughly surprised with our choice. We booked again for this hotel, but as it was closed were upgraded to their sister hotel, (Delux), which is just round the corner from The Club. I wouldn't say it was much of an upgrade, but it was acceptable. The staff were very accommodating. The rooms were cleaned every day. The food was okay if you liked the normal Turkish fayre - chicken, turkey and squashed meatballs! Not much in the entertainment side, so we made our own!

Basic hotel, you get what you pay for, rooms dated and basic, but it's all you need as don't spend long in the rooms. The outdoor pool area is lovely, loads of loungers but they go early, 2 outdoor pools and one indoor, massive grass area also to put loungers on. All inclusive basic, but always found something to eat, some nice Turkish veg dishes, pasta/chips etc also. drinks in small plastic cups, but they allow you to take your own glass to fill up! Unlike some of the very bad reviews, I had no problems. Yes rooms dated and some cracks here and there, but fine, air conditioning was ok for the one room but didn't reach to the 2nd room. Fridge in room, tv and hairdryer amongst other things.
I would stay there again if you want cheap and basic! If you expect lush rooms and amazing service book a 5 star, not here.

The room was not good, the towel rail fell off on to my head, my son was locked in the bathroom for over an hour the lock was broken, the only accessible plug socket was behind your pillow on the bed so not safe to use. There was no cleaning I had to make the beds, empty the bins and ask for towels and toilet paper; the cleaner came twice in the 12 nights we were there and that's only because I complained at reception. The pools were good you had to be up very early for a lounger as there weren't enough, food was very poor we ate out all the time, the cleanliness in the dining room was terrible, dirty tables, if anyone spilt anything it was not cleaned up, tables were not cleared you had to do it yourself, staff were very rude and didn't help you. The staff were young and seemed to be running the hotel, you never saw management. I complained while I was there by email to yourselves who got me in touch with the You Travel rep, I asked to see the manager Mr Derbent as advised by You Travel but never got to see him as he wasn't there every time I asked. You Travel asked me on the day I was leaving to make a report but it was too late as I was going on my transfer. We spent a lot of money on eating out which was very disappointing to say it was an all inclusive hotel. I've been all over the world and this is the first time I've had to get out when on all inclusive, I did try a fritter only to find it was still frozen and there were flies all over the salad.

Brilliant hotel. Staff amazing, Fred and Betty at reception go out their way to help you all the time, brilliant. Can't wait to book again next year. Clean bedding and towels everyday, the complex is amazing. Definitely the best I've stayed in in Marmaris.

Pineta has poor reviews but is actually a very good holiday resort, the staff are friendly, the entertainers cater for all ages and the rooms may be basic but are clean. Also the food is good and caters for everyone. This is my fifth time at Pineta so I think that says it all.
