Paleokastritsa

Paleokastritsa, Corfu, Greece

Paleokastritsa has breathtaking scenery with multiple little beaches, traditional tavernas and historical sights to visit. Ideal for families wanting somewhere a little quieter.

Paleokastritsa

This beautiful and lively village is surrounded by pine trees and set in a clover shaped bay. A 12th Century monastery looks down on the village from the steep hillside and the half a dozen little beaches dotted around the bay. The monastery is definitely worth a visit for the views alone. Visitors can enjoy the many tavernas, shops and small bars which are spread around the village and there is a little port just a five minute walk away.

The resort is hilly and due to the terrain may not be ideal for anyone with walking difficulties.
