There is nothing there, only a street with 2 bakers, a few supermarkets very small. Beach has a great taverna, plus sun beds and a few sports.

A little bit quiet but nice beach, a little hilly.

Great holiday, as always the people of Corfu are very friendly. The beach was pebbles, which is fine for those that don't want sand to get every where! the sea was very calm, great for snorkelling. You will have a great time here.

Great resort, fairly quiet, with the restaurants and shops on two levels, on the road, and down by the sea. Some good restaurants and taverns - Bahia Mare our favourite.

Barbati Beach has been awarded a Blue Flag and offers a mile long stretch of shingle beach which is fringed by a few tavernas. The road down to the beach is steep and therefore may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties.
On the beach at Barbati is the ancient church of St Nikolas which is very pretty and worth the walk along the beach to visit. For those seeking to visit the island's capital, Corfu Town, a regular bus service operates the 20 km journey. Here visitors can wander the streets of the Old Town, museums, churches and the 16th century fortress.
Corfu Airport is approximately 16 km away - transfer time about 30 minutes.
