Dassia, Corfu, Greece
Dassia is a lively resort set in a good location for exploring its neighbouring resorts (Ipsos and Corfu Town). The beach slopes gently into the sea and this is a superb place to swim as the sea is calm. The resort is good for watersports and although there are no clubs as such there are a couple of disco bars that stay open until the early hours. Best suited for families and couples.
Dassia is a small and intimate resort with a limited choice of shops, bars and restaurants and low key nightlife at tavernas and restaurants. For those seeking lively nightclubs then this is probably not the resort for you!Read more about: Beaches | Nearby Attractions | Quick Facts | Dassia Reviews
The lively 200 metre stretch of shingle and pebble beach has been awarded the Blue Flag for cleanliness and is ideal for families due to the shallow waters. At the jetty is a choice of watersports.
For those who wish to explore the surrounding area the coastal villages of Gouvia and Kontokali are worth a visit. Here you will find traditional cobbled streets, old churches and a Venetian shipyard.
Corfu Airport is approximately 15 km away - transfer time about 15 minutes.
