Beaches

Across the main road from the main hotels is a beach which can get busy during the peak season and there is another beach at the city end of Sousse called Baujaafar.

Things to Do

The Medina in Sousse is charming and is filled with alleyways with shops where travellers can try out their haggling skills.

The Great Mosque of Sousse was built in 850AD and looks like a fortress or alternatively travellers can visit the Ribat of Sousse which offers superb views of the medina, sea and the nearby port.

For those who like Museums there is the Dar Essid Museum which is a small charming traditional Tunisian House which is located in the old city walls.
