The hotel is situated on the beach and is around 5km from downtown Puerto Plata, although some shops and restaurants can be found within 2.5km of the hotel.

There is a large outdoor swimming pool for both adults and children which is surrounded by a sun terrace furnished with sunbeds and parasols, and a towel service. Sporting activities include table tennis, volleyball, tennis and there is a range of watersports available at the beach (some may incur a local charge).
