Sosua is divided into three sections: El Batey which is the main section which is popular with tourists, Sosua Abajo and Los Charamicos.
There are good hotels in town of Sosua by the beach known as the strip and Sosua has an abundance of restaurants where you will find just about every type of food including French, German, English, American, a little Mexican and of course, Dominican food.

It's a small hotel compared with the one next door but that makes it a much nicer place to stay.

Sosua is very touristy with a lot of foreign nationals so it isn't very "Dominican". Sadly, there are a lot of sex-workers as many men go there for a good time. There are some quite nice eating places but equally, it gets a bit rough later in the evening. The local beach is nice and there is a quiet beach too, but there is no shade. There are companies to arrange trips but in the town itself it is just beach, drinks and food.

Sosua Bay attracts watersports enthusiasts and divers and snorkellers will love the sheltered and calm waters. Sosua Beach is the main beach and is 1km long and offers a lively atmosphere with rows of shacks selling food and gifts.
Apart from the popular Sosua Beach there are other beaches including the Waterfront beach, Paradise Beach, Playa Imbert and Playa Chiquita.
