Argassi, Zante, Greece
Argassi is a purpose built resort and visitors will find a narrow sandy beach. There is a selection of bars, tavernas and restaurants and the nightlife is relatively low key. Activities include watersports and walking amidst the beautiful landscape.

A very nice resort, lots of great bars and restaurants but not over crowded, has a nice chilled out feel about it, also a good location to get to Zante town and other near by resorts.

Argassi is a very nice resort - very family orientated but does not have large beaches but the sea is beautiful. People are very friendly and welcoming - there is a lovely bakery about half way down the main street and loads of great restaurants - but in particular The Green Frog and Charlie Chaplins, which did excellent quality reasonable food. You can hire a car or quad bike/scooter and see more of this lovely island as we did - there are also many boat trips available to see the turtles - well worth it.

There is a narrow beach in Argassi which spans the whole length of the resort and has areas of both sand and shingle. During the Summer months a range of watersports are available at the beach.
Out and About
Argassi is developed around the beach making it a compact resort which has a lively feel during the peak season. Visitors can enjoy the selection of restaurants, bars and clubs and there is both local shops and supermarkets to browse around.
Guests can take a day trip to the famous shipwreck, Blue Caves or renting a boat to visit one of the more secluded beaches around the island.
