Ryanair Verification Guide
As your travel dates near, we need to make sure you've got everything you need for a smooth journey.
So you're aware, Ryanair have reviewed their booking safety and security process, and introduced a new step. So that you know what you need to do to be able to check in online, here's a simple guide for you.
How to verify my myRyanair account
For your flight booking, you've been asked to verify your myRyanair account. To do this, please use the eight-digit security code as well as the unique email address we've created for you, both of which can be found in your confirmation paperwork or in the ‘Your Flight’ section in the ‘My Sunshine’ area of our site.
Click 'My bookings' on Ryanair’s website or in the Ryanair app
Input your reservation number
Enter the unique email address we've sent to you for your booking. This email address is unique to you, and as your travel agent we use it to manage your booking on your behalf. Please ensure you use this unique email address rather than a personal email. See "What email address do I use to verify?" below for more information
You'll be presented with two options: Express Verification or Standard Verification.
Express Verification will use facial recognition technology to verify your identity. You'll need a copy of your ID and a device with a camera. The express method verifies your ID in approximately 2 minutes and there is a fee of €0.59.
Standard Verification uses your signature to verify your identity. You'll need a copy of your ID and a device with a camera. The standard method verifies your identity within 7 days and there's no fee if you choose standard verification.
Once your identity has been verified you'll be able to access your booking to enable us to continue managing your holiday on your behalf. Please note that if you don’t choose either of these options you can still verify your identity at the Ryanair ticket desk before departure, however, additional check-in fees will apply, and you won't be able to manage your booking in the run-up to your holiday.
