The staff were polite and helpful. The manager of the hotel was also seen walking about and speaking to the guests and this is so nice to see. You only normally see the staff. The food was hot and varied; and we loved the themed evenings which gave us the opportunity to try new foods. Our rooms were cleaned every day and beds made etc. Towels changed every other day. The all inclusive guests (which we were) were entitled to use the Spa free of charge and this was a bonus. We loved the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi, along with the indoor pool. We are thinking of returning to this resort next year.

Rooms clean and spacious, pool areas spotless, food excellent, buffet for breakfast and dinner, staff helpful and friendly, hotel 25 mins pleasant walk to beach and centre but taxi only 4 euros and few bars and supermarket halfway.

No entertainment. Food same most days. Have to ask for toiletries from cleaner. Rooms spacious and well equipped. Air con had an awful smell. Staff not very friendly. Swipe cards at bars and entry into rooms didn't always work. Not a four star.

We stayed as a family of 4 with an 18yr old and 16yr old for a week on the 9th July 2015. The hotel was quiet, maybe early in the season as it was advertised with things to do for the 16yr old such as rifle shooting and archery, although none of this was on offer. We paid extra for the 18yr old to use the gym everyday, although this was only about 25 euros. The rooms were comfortable, we had a junior suite which was well equipped but we were all inclusive so didn't use the kitchen. The food was good with a good selection, I am coeliac and the restaurant staff were very helpful in finding me food I could eat, which makes a change from going hungry, think this must be the difference between a 3* and 4* hotel. Plenty of sun loungers round the pool with mattresses on them and free use of pool towels. Hotel is on the outskirts of the resort about 15 minutes to the centre, we have stayed before in this resort so know shortcuts.

Value for money wise, Vitalclass Hotel was great. The staff were all really friendly, as were the other guests. It was a nice quiet hotel with no real rowdiness, and no children at the time we went, which is what we were after. There were always sun loungers no matter what time of day you went to the pool. It's a bit of a walk to the nearest shop, restaurants and beach, but we didn't mind that too much. The rooms were a lot bigger than expected as we had a whole apartment, which was really useful to have a fridge for water etc. They were a little basic and could maybe have done with a refurb, but you could tell they had made the effort by adding things like a massage chair. Air conditioning was only in the living room area, which is the opposite end to the bedroom. The bedroom only had a ceiling fan by way of air circulation. The bathroom also never smelt the freshest. The food was sometimes slightly uninspiring, but there was always something to eat and the quality was good. In the evenings they would cook meat and pasta in front of you to your taste which was excellent. There was only one night we struggled to find something we liked, which we thought was relatively good going. Entertainment lacked a little which again, suited us as we don't tend to enjoy hotel entertainment but for those who do, they may be a little bored in an evening at the hotel. All in all a good, friendly hotel, good value for money and I would consider visiting there again.

The moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff who upgraded us to a junior suite.

The accommodation was excellent and the choice of food was superb - every night!

Nothing was a problem to the staff who couldn't have done more for us. The Sports and Wellbeing Fitness Centre was used as well and was a great addition to the experience.

The apres dinner entertainment of quiz and salsa was good fun and we had a great holiday.

Thanks to all the staff - hasta luego and I will definitely return.

Stayed here for ten nights over Christmas. Hotel is very geared towards sports people with a number of single people staying and availing of the sports programme including cycling; swimming; pilates; yoga and zumba amongst other classes (some of which were extra charge). The food was very good with lots of choices at each buffet style meal. Also lots of fresh fruit available. Top marks to chefs especially for the lemon mousse - divine!

Overall the staff, especially the bar staff work exceptionally hard and are always smiling, we had a junior suite which included a separate living room; separate kitchen; bedroom and bathroom. Big thank you to our barman - he was a superb barman and extremely patient with some very rude guests.

The downsides - we had a second floor room, which was a great size with partial sea view but you have to carry your cases up (and down) two flights of steps! There are no lifts - so I recommend a ground floor pool view room. There was no entertainment at all except for Friday nights when there was a singer who played until 11pm. The bar closed at 11pm - even if you wanted to buy a drink after the all inclusive ended at 11pm it wasn't possible.

Overall I found the hotel to be very good but the lack of entertainment lets it down. The hotel is a good 15-20 minute walk to the resort centre. There is a very good bus service (every 20 minutes) to Puerta del Carmen and other surrounding areas (bus takes about an hour) approx E22-25 euros by taxi each way. Hotel has a bus timetable which is very handy.

Wifi - free 3 hours wifi in reception area but we never managed to get access at all over the ten days. The only English speaking channel is Sky News but rooms have a DVD so bring some along. Hotel could benefit from having a few DVDs to loan out for a small charge as it was quite boring at times. Lots of sunbeds but could do with some cushions on them! Great big pool towels available. Fabulous! Bed sheets changed twice per week and towels changed three times - towels are small and could do with being replaced.

Overall a very good hotel if you want a quiet and relaxing hotel with the option of keep fit. I don't think it is geared towards families unless they run a summer entertainment programme.

Good facilities - be aware that you will normally pay extra to use the indoor pool, gym and spa facilities, although if you're at the resort to have a healthy week, it's well worth it. Ask for a higher up room.

A lovely holiday, very relaxing. The hotel was very quiet which was great for us and plenty of sun loungers to choose from. Unfortunately staff at the hotel were very busy working between restaurant and bar meaning there was a wait every time you wanted a drink from the pool bar.
