I stayed with my boyfriend in apartment 1 after booking with sunshine. When we arrived late in the evening, Stella was really welcoming and moved us into the sea view room as it was empty. The bedroom was the perfect size for us, you have the option to eat inside or out on the balcony. There isn't a lot of surface space but it was enough for the two of us. I really liked the shower as it was strong and there was also air conditioning in the room. Stella was so kind to us, she surprised us with pastries and gave us a satellite box so that my boyfriend could watch the world cup in our room. On the last day our flight was at 9:40pm so even though we were supposed to check out at 10am she let stay in the apartment until 7pm as no one was arriving that day. The location was perfect for us as it is in between Dubrovnik and Cavat. The bus to the old town costs 18 kuna each way and to Cavat it is 20 kuna. The apartments were really good value as the accommodation in the old town is a lot more expensive and not as scenic, we certainly wouldn't have been able to afford a stunning sea view room like that being students (we are both 20). It is also nice to be away from the crowds in Dubrovnik. The only problem with the location is that even though there was a market 10 minutes walk away, it was on a busy road with no foot path so we just bought our food in the old town or Cavat before we came home. The buses run until half 1 in the morning so we only had to get a taxi once as a match finished late, I would avoid getting a taxi if possible as ours came to 180 kuna one way. There is a beach really close by which isn't packed like the beaches in Dubrovnik. I would definitely recommend here and would stay again, if you are on a budget the buses come every half an hour, if not I would suggest getting a car as there is a lot to explore in the area.
