Hvar Island, Croatia
A unique island offering all the facilities for a great holiday destination, from the ancient town of Hvar with its exciting nightlife, to the unspoilt beaches with clear waters and the rich vegetation across the island.
Beaches tend to be pebbly, though some shallow sandy beaches can be found on the north side of the island.
Access to the island is by sea only, the quickest route is from Split ferry terminal, Split Airport is 30km from here, with the car ferry taking around 2hrs and the hydrofoil just 1hr.

Hvar is a pretty island with lots of good restaurants and bars. A haven for yachts. Good for a quiet, relaxing holiday.
