There are a few little restaurants on the beach which is ideal if you are looking for a little refreshment.

The Richard Burton film 'Night of the Iguana' was filmed here and the remains of the original movie set are still here, although not accessible.

Out and About

There are several restaurants situated on the beach, all of which serve many Mexican dishes and of course, freshly caught seafood. Some of the restaurants even provide a beach service so it is possible to enjoy a drink on the beach.

There are a few trinket peddlers down at the beach but nothing more than that so don't expect to get much shopping done here.
